A place where we withdraw ourselves from society/corporate/public transportation mayhem and get completely at ease. This is the place we call home and we all digg it and there’s no other place like it. So when spending so much time running naked from room to room , watching TV, hosting crazy parties, cook delicious food and all other fun stuff we do over there… why not make it a très sexy looking one! At the Bright Tradeshow we saw the documentary Beautiful Losers. It’s about people who got big with their contemporary street art. It includes people like Berry McGee and Shepard Fairy from Obey. It’s pretty dope to see how they managed to have such an impact worldwide. Some of them do stuff for 2K, others made their own imperium such as Obey. Go have a look.
Today we visited the Bright Tradeshow in Frankfurt. We met up with some friends and had some nice talks with other brands. We figured out it’s definitely an interesting option to host a stand upcoming summer or next winter to boost AFTG into Europe. We’ll be ready…
The Happening is pretty much everything about surfing and everything that comes with it. The Happening is an art, photo, film and music festival embodying the spirit of surf and skate culture. We look forward to future sessions.
Today is the kick-off for the 38th edition of the IFFR, the International Film Festival Rotterdam. The film festival is famous for it’s excellent programming of foreign indie films and hosting various events during the evenings throughout the festival. Go watch some movies and make sure you attend one of the official parties! The festival takes place from 21 January – 1 February.
