Unipo Collection

UniPo Collection

Since I’m with my girl she gives me a UniPo toy every month for celebration. After 2,5 years we’re still together as a happy couple, so you do the math. I def. need a bigger room by the time the year is let’s say 2014. I keep losing track of the actual order in which they came. So she thinks I don’t pay enough attention or whatever. So I tell her if we ever break up, which ofcourse I never-ever-ever hope for, I’m going to sell them all on Ebay. Till then you UniPo fans can watch my Unipo collection here! (more…)

The art of Blanca Gomez

Tuesday, July 21st, 2009

Viva Espana! People in Madrid make crazy stuff too, take Blanca Gomez. Gomez is based in Madrid, Spain.  Her work offers a great mix of simplicity, color and tidyness. It all just matches when combined together. The online portfolio tells you so.

Especially we like what she did with the Moleskine project. It’s all tidy and formed by simplicity which is a good thing. Photography is also a form of expression for her. See her Flickr account here. Fosho we’ll keep track of Blancas work in the future. Good thing also, there’s a shop. Nice things for really nice prices.

The art of Nina Braun

Based from an excerpt from her own site ‘Nina Braun is immersed in an analogue world, where the obsession with material and her devotion to each individual object emerges from her very personal imagery.

Her approach to materials like wool and fabric are the base for her sometimes child-like and naive objects that result from an intensive working process. Considering that we are living in a digital era where economical aspects of the working process prevail and thoughts and images can be infinitely reproduced, Nina Braun’s approach to work is quite revolutionary.’ Now this sounds al fancy and stuff but the actual images speak for themselves. We love it!

The art of Ryan Bubnis

Friday, June 12th, 2009

We spotted Ryan Bubnis his art somewhere on the web and wanted to know more about this artist. He produces a clean yet chaotic style and has been described as “urban folk.” He uses his creations to set themes to the human condition. The site says ‘Vibrant, abstracted shapes and faces radiate joy and optimism while they float in and out of rich, multi-layered realms.’
